Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notification, however prices for existing orders will be honored where correct and we will make every effort to inform you of any price changes as and when they occur.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your car is correctly setup and/or tuned to accept any relevant products sold. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are suitable for your vehicles year and model and legal in your country. It is your responsibility to ensure that the items, if not fitted by Subaru 4 you Ltd, are safely and properly fitted. If you have requested that Subaru 4 You Ltd. fit items that will render your vehicle in a non road legal state, e.g. the fitting of non road legal exhaust, then it is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is not used on a public road.
Orders:
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Subaru 4 You reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Title of Goods
All goods remain the property of Subaru4you Ltd until paid for in full.
Payment
Under normal circumstances, for UK orders, payment will not be taken from a credit or debit card until the day that the items are being dispatched or for goods that are sent direct to you from our supplier then payment may be taken when we place the order with our supplier. For SPECIAL ORDER items (i.e. items not normally stocked by Subaru4You Ltd.) payment may be taken when we place the order with our supplier. For overseas orders goods are despatched 5 working days AFTER payment has cleared.
Delivery – Mainland UK
Any dates provided by Subaru4you Ltd for delivery of goods must be viewed as an estimate only. Items in stock will normally be dispatched within 1 working days after receipt of your order and payment, however, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilment your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping with the exception of special order or made to order parts which cannot be cancelled. You will be advised when you place your order if an item is special order or made to order.
We reserve the right to decide how best to dispatch your order to you. Remember, our postage chages include the time spent packing and arranging transport to the Post Office or arranging the courier.
In general small packages will usually be sent via Royal Mail and will require signing for. Royal Mail parcels whilst usually arriving within two working days can take up to 14 working days to arrive.
Medium sized and large sized packages will usually be sent via courier and will require signing for. The courier will only normally attempt 1 delivery to your address. If delivery is unsuccessful (if you are not available to sign for the goods) the goods will be taken back to the Courier’s depot and you will need to visit their depot in person with proof of ID to collect the goods. If the goods are returned to the Courier’s depot and you require them to be re-delivered to your address again, this will be chargeable. If you do not collect the goods within 3 working days following the return to the depot, the goods will be returned to us. At this point a re-delivery back out to you will be chargeable at original delivery price or you must collect them from our office in Newbury.
Delivery - Outside of Mainland UK
For shipping overseas (outside of mainland UK) we will contact you on receiving your order (and prior to processing it) to quote for shipping charges if not already advised and advise on expected delivery times.
Product Warranty
No warranty other than that provided by the products manufacturer is supplied by Subaru4you Ltd. Any warranty will be null and void if the product has been modified in any way after sale or incorrectly fitted or fitted in a modified way. Product warranty will never exceed the cost of the original goods and is limited to either replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price. Consequential damage to other items caused by a failure of the product purchased is not covered by any warranty. Loss of use of the product or associated items caused by a failure of the product purchased is not covered under any warranty. In addition to the manufacturers warranty, if the product has been fitted by Subaru 4 you Ltd. the the warranty will also cover refitting of a replacement part providing the replacement is the same as the original failed part and that the original part has not been modified in any way at the request of the customer or fitted in a modified way at the request of the customer. Warranty is registered only to the original purchaser of the goods and is not transferable to another person. Used parts supplied have no warranty other than they should work when initially fitted. Incorrectly supplied parts whether new or used, will receive a refund including postage paid if the error is ours, but not return postage and we are not responsible for any consequential loss, damage or other costs incurred.
Returns
Damaged Packages & shortages: You must inspect your package as soon as it arrives and not sign for it until you are satisfied that the goods are complete and undamaged. Any damage or shortages must be noted on the paperwork that you sign for receipt. Signing as unchecked is unacceptable. If when you receive your goods and you believe them to faulty/short, you must inform us by telephone (email is acceptable) as soon as is practicable after receiving your goods preferably within 48hours of receipt. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Unwanted Goods:
You have a right to cancel the contract within 7 days starting the day after receiving delivery of the goods, following which you must inform us in writing and the goods must be returned to us immediately at your cost and risk. We expect the items to be returned in original packaging in a saleable condition if you require a full refund of the purchase price. No refunds whatsoever will be given on goods that that show signs of being installed, modified or defaced in any way. No refund will be made for the cost of shipping the item to you or return postage.
It is your responsibility to pay for the return of goods and ensure that they are adequately insured and returned in good order including packaging. Providing when we receive the goods they are in the same condition as when we dispatched them we will refund the cost of the goods but not the cost of the postage and packing.
Exceptions
i) Any product that has been supplied ready painted is a custom order and cannot be returned. Any product that has been painted, primed or altered by you cannot be returned. Therefore please ensure any product fits your vehicle prior to spraying. This does not affect your statutory rights.
ii)Wheels that are ordered fitted with tyres are a custom order and cannot be returned for refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.
iii) Custom parts and made to order parts are a special order and cannot be returned or exchanged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
iv) Any non stock item is a Special order and is non returnable except at our discretion. This does not affect your statutory rights.
v) If a non stocked item is accepted for return then there may be a 20% restocking and handling fee deducted from the refund. It is your responsibility to pay for the return of goods and ensure that they are adequately insured, and returned in good order, including packaging.
Law
The purchase of any goods from Subaru4you Ltd is governed by English Law. By accepting our terms and conditions you are submitting the contract to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. Our terms of sale comply with the distance selling regulations.
